What's In Your Easter Basket?

Although the first day of spring has already passed, Easter weekend always brings about the true feelings of warmer weather and spring wardrobe choices. Retailers are infusing pastels, florals and jacquard prints in to their stores for the preparation of warmer months ahead.

Spring 2013 Trend Report: Sheer

Now that Fashion Week has come and gone, it’s clear to see what trends will be making their mark in the glossy magazines for Spring/Summer 2013. Yes, the runway featured everything from Japanese-inspired tailoring, burglar stripes, flamenco ruffles and breathtaking embellishments, but the trend most seen in Fashion Week was the sheer trend.

Many designers opted to showcase their designs by utilizing sheer panels, see-through embellished materials or clear overlay’s. No matter how it was done, you’d be hard pressed to find a designer that didn’t feature at least one sheer look in their collection this season.

This trend is all about giving a little extra risk to your wardrobe and and adding some romance to your otherwise conservative closet.

Give sheer a try for Spring 2013!

Street Style Superstar: Tommy Ton

Incredible. brilliant. creative. Three words to sum up legendary street style photographer Tommy Ton.

Known for his key eye, attention to detail and the ability to shoot "style" rather than the subject itself, Tommy Ton shows that fashion is everywhere and that individuality is what makes people stand out the most.
