Ever since living
in Denver, I have had a love affair with mountain homes.
The rustic beams, the warm
fire and the stunning views – love. love. love.
So while perusing
through Architectural Digest yesterday, I came across this extravagant Montana ski chalet just
outside of Yellowstone National Park. The 9,750 square-foot,
seven-bedroom dwelling was designed by Los-Angeles based designer Michael S. Smith,
who created a beautiful ski chalet with a modern, yet woodsy vibe.
Each room in this gorgeous home has a distinct
personality – incorporating bespoke elements such as a built-in bookcases
in the dining room, a pressed-tin ceiling in the kitchen and custom-made
upholstered pieces in the living room.
Looks like the perfect spot to take in some awesome snow & major relaxation...
