Leopard Affair...

One of the easiest and quickest ways to add a dash of personality to your outfit is to mix in a pair of leopard print shoes. They are fun, flirty and will bring a hint of sexiness to any of your ensembles. Yes it is true that leopard prints do not go with everything, however with the right outfit and colours, you will be sure to get huge drama by wearing these puppies on your feet.

Tips To Wear Leopard Print Shoes:

1) Mix with monochromatic tones. Think black, white or cream. Yes this is the safe route to go, however, it will ensure that the shoes standout and don’t compete with any other colours in your outfit. 

      2)  Avoid wearing with other loud prints. Yes, we have all seen this done perfectly right and dreadfully wrong. Some fashion daredevils have pulled off an awesome mixture of pairing leopard print and other bold patterns together. However, not everyone has this same talent for mixing and matching. To prevent a fashion mishap, it is best to minimize the number of prints that your wearing with your leopard loves. Opt away from a competing print that will make you look more like your in the jungle that a fashion expert.

Hot For Spring: The Denim Vest

Vests are back! If you love your denim, but want another way to incorporate it in to your wardrobe – try adding a vest. It is just the thing to you need to shake up your wardrobe and add some variety in to your closet. No matter your style, a denim vest that can complete your look. Available in various washes at different price points, jean vests are one of the hottest items for spring. Since purchasing mine a couple months ago, I can’t seem to stop wearing it! Adding it to my maxi dresses, basic tees and printed spring denim, this item is at the top of my must-have list for summer.

Below are some tips for purchasing the perfect denim vest:

1)    Find a vest that flatters. Choose a vest that is fitted but not too tight. Most likely you will wear your vest open, so keep this in mind when selecting your size.

2)    Choose a wash that fits your wardrobe. If you have more of a boho vibe, I suggest opting for a lighter wash. For an ultra-chic look give white jean a try.

3)    Wear it in the right setting. If you work in a creative field your dress code may allow you to wear a denim vest to work. If not, make sure to sport your jean vest on weekends only.

Give this trend a try - if your anything like me, you wont be able to stop wearing yours!

Three Ways: Black Booties

In my opinion, booties are a must-have item in every person's wardrobe. They are the perfect alternative to heels and my fall/winter go-to! 

As of late I have been super busy with Winter Wardrobe Consultations (thanks to all my amazing clients for your great referrals). I have had a lot of my clients ask me about "booties" and the best way to incorporate them in to their closet. Truth is, booties can be worn in any manner that you would traditionally wear heels - with a dress, skinny's, skirts and leggings.
