Fashion Focus: The Diamond Jubilee

The royals were dressed to impress at this weekends Diamond Jubilee Thames River Pagent.

Leading the charge was the stunning Queen, who wore an Angela Kelly ivory dress that was embellished with Swarovski crystals. The dress was designed in-house at Buckingham Palace and was apparently in the works for more than a year. 

After the queen, all eyes were focused on the stunning Duchess of Cambridge who arrived in a classy red long sleeve dress. Her ensemble was naturally designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, whom she chooses for most of her marquee events. She finished off her look with a hat designed by Sylvia Fletcher for James Lock & Co. 

Not to be passed over was the royal men looked dashing in their military uniforms. The Duke of Cambridge paired his Flight Lieutenant No 1 uniform with blue garter sash, while his brother Prince Harry chose a uniform of the Blues and Royals and matched his ceremonial outfit with a light blue beret. 

In my opinion, the royals totally nailed it! Classy and elegant...a perfect combination.
