The
red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival is generally acknowledged as one of the
most fashionable spots in the world. Style statements are as much a part of an
evening's entertainment as the films and art that are being featured there.
This year, there were some definite stand out moments in my opinion. Here are my favorite looks from from this infamous event.
On
the top of my list {as per usual} is Diane Kruger. Dazzling is both Jason Wu on
opening night and then looking flawless in Vivienne Westwood to the Amour premiere - Kruger showed
that she really is the red carpets "it" girl.
Naomi
Watts looked stunning in a Gatsby inspired feather trim drop
hem dress and then stunned the crowd in a frothy nude Marchesa. Gorgeous!
Equally
beautiful was Jessica Chastain in a floor sweeping embellished Gucci gown, which she elegantly wore with stunning choppard earrings.
Eva
Longoria looked delightful in a low cut cream gown by Alberta Ferretti. She later slipped in to beautiful Marchesa gown with full train and embroidered detailing. Wow!
Cheryl
Cole brought some British va-va-voom in a fitted Stephane Rolland couture gown
which boasted a bright red feathered train.
